Friday you will be tested on the following words. Today I would like you to start the period by writing a two paragraph short story using 5 of the words in context. This is to be a story, not just sentences. 

Entreat--to beg someone to do something 
The prince entreated the villagers to stop fighting.

Peril--danger
Malvolio was in peril when he faught with Tybalt

Enmity--hostile to someone
The Montagues and the Capulets had an enmity that had lasted for years.

Perjury--lying in court
If you lie to the judge you will be committing perjury

Idolatry--extreme worship of something
Romeo didn't just love Juliet; his love was so extreme it was idolatry

Rancor--bitterness toward someone
Even though Juliet was supposed to hate Romeo, she felt no rancor toward him.

Alliance--a union or association formed for mutual benefit 
Friar Lawrence sided with Juliet and formed an alliance of sorts against her parents.
