1. Reading day. Read your novel.
2. If you haven't finished your district reading test, do that instead of reading your novel and then read the novel when you have finished.
3. Review vocabulary for Monday's quiz
4. Share scary stories

Tuesday, November 5 your final essay will be due.

2 pages double-spaced typed or two and a half pages single spaced legibly hand written
Explain how Odysseus follows the pattern of the hero's journey. (Or, you may do this 2 page paper on a movie that follows the pattern.)
Here's what's due on Monday:
1 page rough draft of movie that follows the hero's journey pattern
1 page rough draft showing that Odysseus follows the hero's journey pattern
2 page EXPANDED AND REVISED final draft of one of the two essays. (10 points for each rough draft, 20 pts. for typed essay = 40 pts. total)
